Favorite Line in the Olympics so Far

Steven Holcomb, the pilot of USA-1, said. "You've seen his eyes." Every bobsledder is slightly brain damaged.
It is a good thing that he does not care, since Janis Minins is a bobsled pilot, a possibly insane Latvian who crashed his sled during training on Monday. This after having emergency surgery!

Great article on Bobsledding....

Harley Davidson - well done!

2010 Moncton Motorcyle and ATV show

Here are a couple more pictures of some stand out motorcycles at the show last weekend. BMW S1000RR and the Ducati 1198.

Patrick Trahan of Montreal

The 2010 Moncton ATV and motorcycle show is over and what a show.  Some of the highlights from my point of view were meeting the Montreal rider Patrick Trahan who was just the fourth Canadian to complete the world's most difficult rally - the Dakar. Supported by Honda he held the spectators attention as he described his experiences. What a great person to meet. The link for Patrick's Facebook page is attached, just click his name on this post title. Way to go Honda for supporting this gentleman.

Best display in my mind was the Ducati section. I cannot put my finger on it but something about red Italian racing machinery may have had something to do with it.

Then there was the BMW S1000RR - if you don't already know about this bike, you probably are reading the wrong BLOG :)

Enjoy the pictures. First Pics, BMW R1200 GSA, and the BMW K1300R.
