Here is a route from Berwick, to Bridgetown and return. Took the 221 and 362 to Bridgetown, and returned most of the way on the 201. The 201 was in good shape, where as the other two were a little rough in sections, although the BMW didn't put up any fuss. Temperature at plus 15 Celsius making for a great half day of riding.

Life - Delusion or Reality
The path less traveled is rarely marked with signs or suggestions which is why most people just follow the rest of the crowd. After all isn't it better to be safe then sorry. Of course there is another school of thought
that suggests you need to take some risks to experience an adventure. Imagine where we would be if Columbus decided to stay home instead of risking going off the ends of the world. In the case of this sign, the turn to the left turned out to be quite exhilarating. Plenty of dips and turns ending at a coffee shop mid trip, and then a great return leg along Hwy 201 back home. Take the path less traveled and live a little why don't you.

Roosters and Jets
Today I saw some interesting things like this cool shadow on a cloud layer that was created by a Jet Stream at a higher altitude. Earlier I snapped chickens crossing a road, and a hilltop view of the valley near Avonport, Nova Scotia. There are always interesting places to see in Nova Scotia when you are traveling around.

The Gaspereau Valley in Nova Scotia

Morden - Nova Scotia
This cross is in the settlement of Morden, Nova Scotia. From the #101 highway you turn into Aylesford and head to Auburn on the #1 highway. Turn onto the Morden Road and head north.
You will arrive in Morden which is on the Bay of Fundy. There is a beautiful view of the Isle and coastline from the settlement.
For motorcyclists there are some nice curves and rolling roads heading to Morden which makes for a fun ride, although you should expect to see some potholes on the road during spring time. Click the pictures to have a better view of the scenery.
Twisty Road Ahead
Beautiful Day in the Annapolis Valley. Bikers enjoy seeing signs like this, and what made this better was seeing the sign at the top of a hill leading to the valley floor below. Perfect blue sky for a great ride. Spring is certainly on the way.
This sign is located on Morden Road, heading from Auburn to Morden which is on the Bay of Fundy on the Nova Scotia side.

How to get rid of a gadget virus...
I wanted to add a gadget to my blog and lo and behold the gadget kept tripping my anti-virus software once I installed it on my blog. So I typed in "virus" in the help section and got this link.
http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/2010/03/identifying-and-removing-html.html
This helped me remove the dastardly villain. Basically you go to your dashboard, select layout, and then edit html. Find the gadget you want to remove, save the template (I saved a copy on word) and see if it is gone. It took me two attempts to make it go away. No damage, and just a little time wasted.
There is a special place in hell for Evil people who screw with the innocent folks in this world. (Where the worm dieth not!)

Spring is just around the corner..
and with the temperature close to 8 above I decided it was time to take the Motorcycle out for a ride yesterday afternoon. The first rides of the season are always the best. Being a Sunday afternoon the traffic was quite light on the back roads and it was warm enough to drive for quite a distance. My route took me down the old number one highway to Kentville then up the prospect road back to Cambridge. You can click any picture to enlarge it. One thing on my shopping list is a new wide angle lens. The telephoto lens could not capture the beautiful scenery of the Annapolis Valley.

Winter Squalls in Early March
Here are two pictures from the beach near Gran Pre, Nova Scotia on March 03, 2010. A few snow squalls were coming through the area and it was bitterly cold out. As you can tell by the whitecaps the wind was howling in the area. The view from the beach leads to Blomidon.
The next two pictures are from the town of Wolfville. The tracks still run through the town and you can catch a glimpse of the old train station. This is a great university town with many fine cafes and eateries.

Three Deer Feeding on a rainy day in Nova Scotia
Three Deer out feeding during a miserable rainy day in February here in Nova Scotia. One seems a bit younger than the other two deer. Taken with the T1i Canon and a zoom lens. Not really happy with the quality of the photos.
