Harbourville on the Bay of Fundy

This is the hamlet of Harbourville, a small fishing village located 12 kms north of Berwick in the Annapolis Valley. Home to a few B&B's, a fish market, and restaurant. We walked along the shore enjoying the calm Bay of Fundy and sunset. click to enlarge the picture.

Rocky Shore on the Bay of Fundy

Bay of Fundy - Although the temperature was plus 15 C inland it quickly drops by the Bay to 9 or 10 above. Still a beautiful day in Nova Scotia. Select the picture to enlarge.

Victoria Beach and Digby Nova Scotia

Victoria Beach, Nova Scotia, is a tiny village across the water from Digby which is the home of the Scallop Fleet.

Here you will see some of the fishing boats tied up and waiting for the next working day. The tide was coming in at this moment and would soon lift the boats up off the mud.

Port Wade is on the main road leading to Victoria Beach. The road ends at Victoria Beach. Notice the fog lifting as the sun does it's work.Today was a beautiful April day with temperatures in the low 20's. The day started off around 8 Celsius.

Digby Wharf across the water from the Victoria Beach dock. The ferry terminal is visible across the water. This ferry takes travelers and commercial vehicles from Nova Scotia to St. John New Brunswick.

Moose River - a great ride on a warm day with lots of twisty roads for interesting motorcycle travelling. This area is near Digby and Cornwallis which is a former military training center.
