Big Savings on an SLR Camera
As the blog mentioned I have been in the market for a good starter SLR camera. I really liked Canon and Nikon, and then I found a stunning deal. On Friday past Best Buy had a half dozen opened boxes with the EOS Rebel T1i in them. Regular price - $899
Sale price was then put to $719
Finally a sticker was over this price at $629 Canadian. Sure enough I grabbed one and headed to the checkout where it in fact came up as $629. What a great deal I would say. Added a memory card, extra zoom lens to come away with a great deal.
It pays to shop hard and do some research. The manual is good, and I am having fun trying different things out with the new camera. The plan is to take some great photos hopefully while out riding on the motorcycle, so stay tuned in. Pictures may appear quicker than you may imagine, despite the fact that I live in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Is it Just me or Is it ...
BMW1200 is getting on his soapbox to vent. It appears he wants a new SLR camera for picture taking on the bike once winter takes off eh. So off to the "camera store" he goes. After the customary greeting he mentions he is in the market for a camera. The salesman immediately says what you want is a Pentax KX for $699.99 cdn.
Really! No question or answer program, like what, who, where, why, etc. Just straight into "I know exactly what you should buy". No matter what is said after that the answer is the same - Pentax KX.
Second store. A little better start, and then BMW1200 starts asking little detailed questions, and all he gets is blank stares, shrug of the shoulders, and I don't know the answer to that question. Oh well. It appears that buying a camera is going to take effort on the bikers part to learn all the answers, as soon as he figures out what all the questions are.
